Januscz Korczak Award for The Roses in My Carpets
In 1998, The Roses in My Carpets received the
honorary Januscz Korczak award but I was unable to travel to Poland to
accept it.
Six years later, one of the people on the award committee recognized my
name in the program for the I.B.B.Y. Congress being held in Capetown,
South Africa, and at long last, she presented it to me.
