At the airport in Tuktoyuktuk. The distant bumps on the horizon are called pingos, ice hills caused by a buckling of the permafrost. The hills are filled with ice/permafrost even in the summer and the Inuit would dig into them and use them as natural refrigerators to keep their meat fresh.
