The grave of Hamza the Prophet's (peace be upon him) uncle and other martyrs during the battle of Uhud. The battle of Uhud was fought in the third year of hijra (after the Muslim community migrated to Medina) when the Qureish from Mecca led an army against the Muslims to wipe them out. The Muslim forces, although outnumbered were winning the battle until some archers abandoned their post on a hill and allowed the Qureish to attack the Muslims from the side.
